Frequently Asked Questions

Select your device from the ‘Repairs’ section of our website and add your chosen repair(s) to your shopping cart. Choose a delivery option before completing your purchase. We’ll send you a confirmation email with clear instructions to follow. Please ensure your device is packaged securely to avoid damage in transit.  We recommend using recorded or tracked delivery.
We return all devices by recorded delivery in secure packaging.
We understand how important your phone or tablet is to you and how frustrating it can be to be without it - our top priority is to fix your device and return it to you as quickly as possible in perfect working order.
You are welcome to bring in your device for repair; our address is: Phonefixbypost 158 Torquay Road Paignton Devon TQ3 2RA. We can carry out a number of repairs while you wait, however it depends on the job in question.  Please email us with the details and we will confirm if it is possible for your repair.
We fully respect our customers’ privacy and will only use your device to the extent required to test repairs.  All data is treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. If you would like to make it impossible for anyone to view any of the data on your device, please back up your data and factory reset your device before sending it to us.
A 90 day warranty is included with all of our products, with the exception of liquid damage which has a 30 day warranty.
We recommend that you back up the data on your device thoroughly before ending it to us.  Please include all of your contact information, and if your device is password or pin protected please include this information.  Please disable Touch ID on all devices that use this.
If we haven’t already started your repair, we are happy to return your device to you with a refund of your repair cost.  However, we do ask that return postage and packing of £14.99 is covered.  Once the repair is underway or has been completed you can still cancel the repair provided it is within the 14 day cancellation period.  We will however charge for any work already completed.  Please see our terms and conditions for more details.
Each device that we can repair has a Diagnosis product available (doctor’s stethoscope icon). We will diagnose the fault and contact you to discuss any repair work that may be required. This product includes a report for use with insurance claims and a quote for any repairs required.  If you choose not to go ahead with any repairs, your device will be returned at no extra charge. If you selected the wrong repair at the outset, we will contact you to let you know and ensure you are charged the right amount for the repair required and refunded if necessary.
We can repair almost any device, so please send us the details and we will confirm a price for you and what you need to do to go ahead with the repair.
